Following on from the FSA’s #easytoASK allergen campaign, which encouraged 16-24-year-olds to speak up about their allergies or food intolerances when eating out, ordering in or cooking with friends, the FSA will be continuing to help build awareness with a campaign in readiness for Valentine’s Day.
The campaign will run from Thursday 7 February in England, Northern Ireland and Wales in the build-up to Valentine’s Day. This is when young people are more likely to eat out in new places (maybe with a new date), order a take-away, order a ‘special’ on a menu, or buy food gifts such as chocolates. The FSA are sharing advice on how to speak up and keep safe. The campaign involves raising awareness for all parties to speak up and ask about allergens and for information to be readily available.
